Anne Shybunko-Moore on The US Navy’s Focus on LI Manufacturing
Last month, an article by David Winzelberg for Long Island Business News highlighted the US Navy’s investment in Long Island manufacturing through the Build Submarines project. Created by BlueForge Alliance, Build Submarines aims to connect skilled workers with the many manufacturing careers available in the region. Among the many companies associated with the project, GSE Dynamics “was named a lead on the submarine industrial base initiatives” and is a key contributor to this effort.
Anne Shybunko-Moore, CEO and Principal of GSE Dynamics, speaks in this article about the goal of expanding the manufacturing workforce in Long Island to meet increasing hiring demands, particularly within the defense industrial base sector. She highlights the importance of the Build Submarines project in maintaining Long Island’s status as an industrial base hub and in raising awareness about the manufacturing industry. Anne is also the Founder and Board chair of IgniteLI, and is now a Senior Board Member as well!
