Recreational Cannabis: Implications for the Shop Floor

IgniteLI gathered a panel of industry leaders to discuss the legal, insurance, human resources, and business climate implications for the recent legalization of recreational cannabis in New York State.

Business leaders across Long Island are reacting to the legalization of Recreational Cannabis in New York State. Especially impacted are Manufacturers who employ heavy machine operators and operators of technical machinery in the processing of manufactured goods. Questions regarding job site safety and liability were raised as well as human resources options for dealing with cannabis-related challenges in the workplace.
