Ignite Long Island is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Waa Nee Shee Energy (WNS) to support the advancement of broadband infrastructure, manufacturing, workforce development, and resilient infrastructure initiatives across Long Island and New York State.This collaboration supports the development of a proposed Broadband Center of Excellence on Shinnecock territory, envisioned as a hub for technology transfer, workforce training, supplier engagement, manufacturing readiness, and broadband deployment. The initiative has the potential to create new opportunities for manufacturers, strengthen regional supply chains, and prepare for the next generation of skilled workers.Through this partnership, Ignite Long Island will help connect manufacturers, workforce partners, and industry stakeholders to foster innovation, support economic development, and strengthen Long Island’s manufacturing ecosystem.
