New York State CFA Workshop & Intent to Apply Opportunity
Ignite Long Island encourages members to explore funding opportunities available through the New York State Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) process.
The Long Island Regional Economic Development Council (LIREDC) is hosting a CFA Workshop on Thursday, June 18 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Farmingdale State College’s Campus Center Ballroom. This session will provide attendees with an opportunity to meet directly with state agency representatives, learn about available funding programs, and gain insight into the application process.
In addition, the LIREDC is now accepting Intent to Apply Forms from organizations planning to submit projects through the CFA process. The Intent to Apply process helps identify high-quality projects early and allows applicants to receive technical assistance throughout the application period. Forms are due by 4:00 PM on June 30, 2026. Selected applicants may also be invited to present a brief project pitch to the Regional Council in July.
We encourage members considering capital projects, workforce initiatives, infrastructure investments, technology upgrades, or other economic development opportunities to take advantage of these resources and explore potential funding opportunities through New York State.
