Thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent Long Island Defense Industrial Base (LI-DIB) Council Meeting hosted by Ignite Long Island at GSE Dynamics.
We were encouraged by the strong turnout and the thoughtful discussions that took place among manufacturers, defense contractors, government partners, and industry stakeholders from across the region.
The conversation focused on the future of Long Island’s defense manufacturing ecosystem, including workforce development, advanced manufacturing technologies, supply chain challenges, CMMC readiness, infrastructure needs, and opportunities to strengthen our region’s competitiveness in the defense sector.
What was clear throughout the meeting is that Long Island’s defense industrial base is stronger when we work together. The engagement and ideas shared reinforced the importance of creating an ongoing forum where industry leaders can identify priorities, address challenges, and collaborate on solutions that support growth and innovation.
Thank you to all who participated and contributed to a productive and meaningful discussion. We look forward to continuing the conversation and building on the momentum generated at this meeting.
